System Specifications for eService Center 5.1
RightNow Web eService Center can be installed on either Windows NT/2000 or UNIX operating systems. UNIX versions support either MySQL and Oracle databases. Windows NT/2000 version support MS-SQL and Oracle databases. The listed hardware specifications are meant to be a guide to help you define the hardware necessary for optimum performance. The listed software specifications for operating systems and database managements systems (DBMS) are strict requirements for the proper operation of eService Center. This listed Web browser specifications are recommendations for the best operation of eService Center. Any operating systems, DBMSs, Web servers, and Web browsers not specifically listed in this chapter are not supported by RightNow Technologies.
Hardware Recommendations
The recommended hardware for eService Center 5.1.0.1 and higher are listed by Tier Pricing of eService Center. The hardware recommended for Tiers 1, 2, and 3 include:

For optimum viewing of eService Center 5.1.0.1 and higher through your Web browser, it is required that you configure your computer screen resolution to display a minimum screen area of 1024 by 768 pixels and to use the default or "normal" font setting (96 dpi).

UNIX
