Developer guide

The RightNow Developer Community contains general information about the customer por­tal as well as a forum for sharing information with other RightNow customers.

This section is intended to provide a brief overview of the tools used in the RightNow Customer Portal and guide developers to additional resources for using the tools, framework and reference implementation. The following sections are included.

•	Framework overview—Contains information about the entire framework, technologies, and code libraries.

•	Server-side scripting and PHP—Contains samples, objects, and functions that are avail­able for development on the web application server, including helpers, libraries, and other custom code.

•	Client-side web browser scripting and JavaScript—Contains samples, AJAX, objects, and functions that are available for client browser scripting.

•	Themes and assets—Contains information about using and creating themes.

•	Widgets and syndicated widgets—Contains samples and information for developing custom widgets.

•	Code source control—Contains a sample method for using a source control system for file management.
