Another new feature added to the add-in framework in the RightNow CX February 10 release was the ability to programmatically set the text of application menu add-ins at runtime. This request came from one of our great partners as they worked on their CTI/Media bar integration. They had built an application menu add-in that displayed “CTI Login” and “CTI Logout” menu items. They realized it would be nice to have a single menu item and update the text based on agent state. We took this request and added that capability to the add-in framework. The tutorial video below demonstrates how to utilize this new capability to update the application menu add-in text at runtime. Enjoy!
