Four RightNow Customers Earn Gartner & 1to1 Awards For Enterprise CRM And Customer Service

Overstock.com Wins Users’ Choice Award for Most Effective Customer Initiative; Marktplaats.nl, eHarmony and Nikon Recognized for Success with Customer-Based Business Strategies with Resulting Business Impact

RightNow® Technologies (NASDAQ: RNOW) congratulates four of its clients—eHarmony; Marktplaats.nl, a subsidiary of eBay; Nikon; and Overstock.com—for receiving Gartner & 1to1 Customer Awards. These awards, given by 1to1 Media, a division of Peppers & Rogers Group, and Gartner are designed to establish a standard of excellence for customer-focused organizations and honor companies that have recently implemented a successful customer-based business strategy with resulting business impact.

In the Full-Suite CRM Optimization category, Marktplaats.nl received the gold award and Nikon, the silver award. Overstock.com was named the gold winner and eHarmony was named the silver winner in the Customer Service Optimization category. Overstock.com also won the Users’ Choice award – presented at the close of the Gartner CRM Summit to the User’s Choice award finalist that the audience selected as the most effective customer initiative. The awards were announced at the Gartner CRM Summit in Washington, D.C.

This year, nominations were evaluated on the implementation and results of their strategic initiatives in seven categories: Customer Strategy and Organizational Transformation, as well as Full-Suite CRM, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and New Media Optimization. This year, there were a total of 20 Gartner & 1to1 Customer Awards presented, including the Users’ Choice Award.

For the past six years Gartner has honored companies with the Gartner CRM Excellence Award, while 1to1 Media has presented its 1to1 Impact Awards.
