Some of the best advice I ever received was to make sure I count my blessings every day. As the old hymn by Johnson Oatman, Jr. starts off,
When upon life’s billows you are tempest tossed,
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,
Count your many blessings, name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.
“Count your blessings, name them one by one.”
Written in the late 1800’s, what great advice that still is for us to today. We have so much to be thankful for even in these tumultuous times; it is easy for most of us to make a long and meaningful list.
One of the things I am most thankful for is the entire RightNow community of employees, partners and customers. I have never worked with a more committed, capable and caring group of people. Also having visited well over 200 of our customers during 2008, I heard firsthand about your tremendously important and worthwhile work to take care of your customers. We are truly blessed to be able to assist you in that noble cause. Thank you for that honor.
To you and your families, have a very Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year.
And thank you for being a blessing to us.
